Group Programs
We offer a range of evidence-based group programs, facilitated by one or more therapists. Groups range from 4 – 8 children. Groups are delivered either at CTS or in community settings. Each term, programs are offered based on the needs/priorities of children and families.
Babies & Toddlers

Engage. Play. Learn. Playgroup.
A fun small group for toddlers to learn sharing, turn taking, and interaction skills. Children build connections with peers and families while targeting motor, play, social, and communication goals in a supportive environment.

Pre-School

Kids Gym
Children develop motor, social, and communication skills while building connections in a sensory gym setting. Activities prepare children for playgrounds, play centres, and kindergarten, with individualised goals and plenty of fun in a supportive small group.

Talk and Play
Children strengthen language, confidence, and social communication. Build vocabulary, follow routines, use longer sentences and improve listening. Supports turn-taking, cooperative play, emotional awareness, independence in routines and school-readiness skills.

Prepping for Prep
This school readiness program builds confidence and independence. Children practise following schedules, completing tasks, moving between spaces, organising belongings, asking for help, and basic emotional regulation. Each child receives an individualised report and About Me profile to share with school.

Kinder & Early Primary

Resilience Builders
A group for early primary-aged children, supporting understanding, expression and management of worries.
Through explicit teaching and engaging activities in a small and supportive group, children develop practical strategies for recognising anxious feelings, building confidence, strengthening coping skills and navigating everyday challenges.

We Thinkers - Social Problem Solvers
Supporting children in navigating more complex social interactions with confidence and flexibility. This program is well-suited for children who benefit from explicit teaching of social expectations, emotional regulation, and problem-solving in everyday settings.

Making and Keeping Friends
This program is designed to support connection, friendship and belonging.
Through explicit teaching, guided activities and structured peer practice across each session, children build confidence in starting friendships, understanding social cues, maintaining connections and navigating everyday social experiences.

Social Detectives
Through interactive games, group discussions, and real-life practice, participants will become “Social Detectives” who can better understand their own thoughts and feelings-and those of others.

We Thinkers - Social Explorers
A neuro-affirming program helping young children learn early social concepts through storybooks, visuals and group activities. It teaches five core skills and supports perspective-taking, self-awareness, and understanding social expectations in kinder, early primary and community settings.

School Aged

Getting Ready for High School
A transition program for Year 6 students to support the transition from primary to secondary school by explicitly teaching practical and social-emotional skills in a respectful, strengths-based way.
Age: Grade 6 in 2026 (Year 7 in 2027)

Puberty Plus
A group for young people of all genders aged 8 and above with autism, neurodivergence or disability to better understand and manage puberty.
Topics include your body, hygiene, menstruation, big feelings, friends & peer pressure, gender stereotypes and confidence.

Get Grit - Part 1
Get GRIT is an evidence-based, neuroaffirming program that supports children to build practical strategies for managing emotions, navigating social situations, and handling everyday challenges with greater confidence and persistence.

Social Stencil - Primary aged and Teens
A social Emotional Neuro-affirming program that teaches practical social concepts, skills and strategies in fun, curious ways. The program supports young people in understanding emotions, build peer relationships and manage conflict independently.

Story Champs
Discover the power of storytelling! This engaging program helps children build oral narrative skills through fund, interactive sessions. They learn story structure, sequencing, and key vocabulary boosting reading comprehension, writing, verbal memory and confidence across many learning areas.

Riding on Two Wheels
A group program of bike riding skills designed for children to learn to ride on 2 wheels. Facilitated by a physiotherapist, fun and engaging on and off bike activities progress at each child’s pace to build confidence. Parents will be hands on to assist their child during the sessions.

Social Sevens
A small group for Year 7 students to connect and share experiences of their transition to high school. Together, the group members celebrate individual successes and identify areas for ongoing learning. Students will problem-solve social and learning challenges, building strategies to more confidently navigate the complexities of secondary school.

Advanced Storytelling
